Gemma presents Thursday Breakfast with her partner in real life, Brian Naylor, and the 90s edition of the Afternoon Gold ‘decades’ show. She has taken part in all of the station’s big outside broadcasts, including Pub in the Park, the Marlow Town Regatta, and the Marlow Carnival.
Both presenters have interviewed some big names over the past year, including Russell Brand, Tim Brooke-Taylor, and several department heads at the BBC, Amazon, and Microsoft.
Graham Duthie, Managing Director of the radio station, said: “Marlow FM is a community station, and we have loads of volunteers like Gemma and Sam who generously give their time to make the station what it is. Getting this kind of recognition makes it worthwhile.”
The awards ceremony, now in its fourth year, will see awards given in 18 categories. It will take place on 26 October at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry, South Wales.
