Marlow FM presenters shortlisted for the Community Radio Awards

Sam joined Marlow FM in September 2018. In a short space of time, he has made a big impression in front of the microphone, with a weekly technology show, and behind the scenes, as part of the operations team.

Both presenters have interviewed some big names over the past year, including Russell Brand, Tim Brooke-Taylor, and several department heads at the BBC, Amazon, and Microsoft.

Graham Duthie, Managing Director of the radio station, said: “Marlow FM is a community station, and we have loads of volunteers like Gemma and Sam who generously give their time to make the station what it is. Getting this kind of recognition makes it worthwhile.”

The awards ceremony, now in its fourth year, will see awards given in 18 categories. It will take place on 26 October at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry, South Wales.
