Marlow FM is a not for profit community radio station run entirely by volunteers on a shoe-string budget with over 100 volunteers giving their own personal time free of charge to provide Marlow with an important, fun and useful service not only through 24/7 broadcasting on FM and online, but also by attending local events and providing outside broadcast facilities. We always attend the major events in Marlow like the May Fayre, Town Regatta, Carnival, late Night Shopping and the Santa Fun Run. Sadly after the Marlow May Fayre event our outside broadcast trailer suffered terminal damage whilst in transit back to our base which left the station in a tricky predicament for covering upcoming outside events without an appropriate OB vehicle.
We've raised sufficient money now to replace it partly through sponsorship but mainly from donations from supportive listeners and local businesses. However, it costs us around £15,000 per year to stay on the air so if you or your company can spare a few pounds towards our running costs the Marlow FM team and the local community would be very grateful. Anything raised will enable us to replace or update essential equipment and go towards meeting our annual running costs.
