The Red Kite Ride, which is run by Marlow Riders this year they will be raising money for a range of local charities. Congratulations to Heather Fisher and Team England for qualifying for the the Tokyo 2020 Olympics yesterday.
They beat Russia to qualify and Heather scored the opening try in the game.
Heather was a former presenter on Marlow and today at 5pm on the Drive Time show she will be a guest with Ceri.

The LOVE Marlow community festival takes place in June each year – 2019 will be the 5th festival, taking place 1st-16th June 2019.
LOVE Marlow is a festival of community activity, created by the people of Marlow, for the people of Marlow aiming to help strengthen relationships across the town by promoting kindness, volunteering and fun.
In 2018, they had 60 events within the festival programme, organised and run by all sorts of different community groups and organisations. We were treated to concerts, talks, cookery demos, a beer festival, a kids bike ride, The Riley Park fundraiser, and much more.

The annual Marlow May Fayre returns for 2019 in Higginson Park, Marlow. A great day out for all the family, and a well established event in the Marlow social calendar.
The May Fayre is a community event put together by Marlow & District Round Table (supported by other local partners such as Marlow FM) all of whom are volunteers and the aim of the event is to have some fun by putting together an event which brings the amazing Marlow community together; and in the process raise funds which are then used to donate back out to local charitable causes.
Marlow FM and a variety of local performing groups will be providing entertainment throughout the day. There will also be kids discos (Dave The Disco) during the day, and Marlow Town Band will also be playing from 11am onwards.

Still at school, he said “I haven’t got any real plans but I know I would like to be a DJ when I leave school. I’m hoping I will be able to go straight into radio and work my education around that,”
He will be playing more “modern and trendy” country music like Toby Keith and Blake Shelton.
